When Anger Became Bondage

There was a season in my life where I thought my anger was justified. I replayed the offense, held onto the hurt, and didn’t realize that unresolved anger was becoming an open door for spiritual torment.
In this episode of Stories That Preach, I share a real story about how anger gave the enemy access in my life — and how God revealed the danger of allowing bitterness, offense, and unforgiveness to remain unchecked.
The Bible warns us clearly in Ephesians 4:26-27:
“Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.”
Anger itself is not the sin — but unhealed anger can become a foothold for the enemy. This episode is a reminder that spiritual warfare is real, and freedom often begins with surrender, forgiveness, and obedience to God.
If you’ve been struggling with offense, bitterness, rage, or spiritual heaviness, this conversation may help you recognize what’s happening beneath the surface and point you back to the healing power of Jesus Christ.
